About the Trip

Zanskar – The Last Shangri-La

Tucked deep within the remote folds of Ladakh, Zanskar Valley is a world untouched by time — a land of raw beauty, sacred silence, and timeless Himalayan life. Known as “The Last Shangri-La,” Zanskar enchants travelers with its dramatic gorges, golden mountains, and turquoise rivers carving through ancient canyons.

Here, spirituality breathes through the wind. Visit Karsha, Stongdey, and the mystical Phugtal Monastery, built inside a cliffside cave, where monks still chant by butter lamps. The journey itself is an adventure: crossing high passes like Pensi La, traversing the Zanskar River, and exploring remote villages such as Padum and Zangla that reflect the warmth and simplicity of mountain life.

Whether you trek across the frozen Chadar, ride through rugged roads, or sit quietly beneath prayer flags fluttering in the thin air, Zanskar invites you to slow down, breathe & truly feel the Himalayas.
