Itinerary

🛣️ Day 1: Manali to Gonbo Rangjon (Zanskar)

  • Distance: ~220 km
  • Drive Time: ~10–12 hrs (with breaks, high-altitude roads)
  • Route: Manali – Atal Tunnel – Keylong – Darcha – Shinku La – Kurgiakh – Gonbo Rangjon
  • Overnight stay at the base of the sacred mountain and enjoy star gazing at night.

🏕️ Day 2: Explore Gonbo Rangjon – Purne – Manali (Via Return Route)

  • Distance: ~220 km
  • Drive Time: ~10–11 hrs

🌄 Morning:

  • Wake up to the spiritual presence of Gonbo Rangjon – revered by Buddhists as the meditation site of Guru Padmasambhava.
  • Walk around the base, soak in the silence, and click surreal photographs.

🛣️ Return:

  • Start early and trace your way back via Kurgiakh – Shinku La – Darcha – Jispa – Manali.
  • Stop for meals at Jispa or Keylong.
  • Reach Manali by night.
