6 Days in Kashmir – The Heaven You Can Touch
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Mughal Gardens & Dal Lake Magic
Welcome to Srinagar, the summer jewel of Kashmir, set along the Jhelum River and framed by the Pir Panjal ranges. After checking into your cozy houseboat or hotel, explore the timeless beauty of the Mughal Gardens – Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Visit the serene Hazratbal Shrine before ending your day with a dreamy Shikara ride on Dal Lake, watching life unfold on the floating gardens.
Day 2: Sonmarg – Where the Mountains Glow Gold
After breakfast, drive through rolling meadows and pine-fringed valleys to Sonmarg, the “Meadow of Gold.” Spend your day amid glaciers, gushing streams, and snow-kissed peaks. Optional: ride to Thajiwas Glacier or unwind by the Sindh River.
Day 3: Gulmarg – The Meadow of Flowers
Head towards Gulmarg, a lush wonderland known for its meadows and pine forests. Ride the famous Gulmarg Gondola— Asia’s highest cable car to Apharwat Peak for breathtaking Himalayan views. Depending on the season, try skiing, hiking, or simply soaking in the alpine calm.
Day 4: Srinagar – Pahalgam | The Valley of Shepherds
Journey to Pahalgam, passing the Awantipora Ruins along the way. On arrival, explore Aru, Betaab, and Chandanwari Valleys, cinematic landscapes surrounded by whispering pines and the crystal clear Lidder River.
Day 5: The ABC Valleys – Nature’s Symphony
Spend a full day discovering the charm of the Aru Betaab Chandanwari circuit, each offering postcard perfect views, tranquil streams & endless photography moments. Go horseback riding or simply relax amidst nature’s melody.
Day 6: Pahalgam – Srinagar Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar through the scenic countryside, bidding farewell to the valley of dreams. Depart with memories of snow peaks, shikaras, and Kashmiri warmth the kind that lingers long after the journey ends.
