Perched at 4,300 meters (14,100 ft) in the upper Chandra Valley of Lahaul, Chandratal Lake, also called The Moon Lake, is known for its surreal crescent shape, crystal-clear waters, and incredible reflection of the stars at night. Hidden amidst the barren yet captivating Himalayas, this gem attracts bikers, trekkers, and solitude seekers alike. The lake lies beyond Kunzum La (4,590 m) and is best visited between June and mid-October when the roads are open
